I was really hoping to attend this year.
I really was.
And not just because it was another chance to see some friends again, but because I honestly thought I was going to finally have the money to collect great works I enjoy looking at. I'd finally be able to purchase a few more games hat I could never find, and maybe even a couple t-shirts I seem to only notice or think about when I'm at cons.
*sigh*
I hope this investment thing goes through. I know the con is in a few days, but I'm certain there will be no cash in my pocket by then. I'll just have to wait till next year.
Oh well... There's always Gen-Con.

Spread the Word!
Hi, everyone.
Good news! Game development is moving along, however, not like it was in the past. All of you who have heard my sorrows know what I am referring to. No, this is different. My very own, self-owned small business, The Hit Point Factory, is developing games at this very moment. My friend Eric has accrued a team of friends, to help him build his long-time dream game. He has spent several years designing the game and writing its code, and will be entering an alpha stage for client-only play. As for I, I have been working on a book for tabletop role-playing. I am several months and need several months more to complete the book, proof
Tyberian Legends RPG - Core rules in development!
After many, many years of compiling new rules and removing flawed ones, "Tyberian Legends RPG" is finally under way. Sure, I don't have any professional artwork to complete the pages... But that is all something I can do later. Perhaps I will finish the book's written material and find artists-for-hire, by getting funding from project donation sites like Kickstarter.com. I've already had the project approved for fundraising last year; I never began advertising the game's development.
On that note: if there any artists that would like to donate their works to the project, let me know. I would love to have friends join me on this endeavor. I
My New Years Resolution...
I was sitting on a couch during the passing of 2011 into 2012. As my friends partied upstairs and watched the clock strike 12, I worked diligently on a 3D models. My New Years Resolution: to have fully developed a game by year's end.
I am working on a game with a friend of mine who knows java scripting. I, knowing how to develop some decent models, am rigging them up to skeletal frames and animating them. The game we're designing is based off of an idea I had a little while back, called "Tunnel Ants" (working title).
We plan on placing them game on the Hit Point Factory website. Of course, the website has to be reinstated. Once that game co
December, 2011: Injury and Loneliness
I have been at home due to injury. While at work, I fell down and got cut three times by a sharp metal beam. My back is a bit of a mess right now, but I'm hanging in there.
Feeling like this, I have only two things to do: tough it out and think to myself. Toughing it out is simple enough. The pain goes away if I ignore it. But, as most people know, pain doesn't disappear that easily if it's something you think of quite often. No, I'm not talking about thinking of the physical pain. I'm thinking of another kind - something I think most of us are familiar with.
Last month, I met up with an old friend I hadn't seen in years. Hanging out with h
